Lunchtime Sandpit Fun

Everytime it is Room 13s time to go in the sand pit we make the most of it. We work together to make the biggest sand castle we can.
Check out how big we made it this week! Our challenge is to try and make it bigger every week.

Lopdell House

Today Room 13 went on a class trip to Lopdell House. After exploring the gallery and examining examples of claywork we headed downstiars to the workshop.

We looked at images of Kiwiana and then designed an egg cup.

When we had finished our designs we got stuck into our clay. IN 3 or so weeks our work will be dry and ready for us to use!
